Cereal YEN

The Cereal Yield Enhancement Network (YEN) was established in 2012, and is the longest-running YEN. With Cereal YEN, you can benchmark your crop's performance against other members, and attend workshops with experienced farmers, agronomists and scientists. Members are also eligible for entry to the YEN Awards at our annual conference.

All members receive a comprehensive report detailing how their crop performed and where improvements could be made. See an example report for spring barley.

Annual Cereal YEN membership

Membership is open, and available to anyone; farmers, agronomists, and researchers. All winter and spring cereals, including wheat, barley, rye, triticale and oats, are eligible for Cereal YEN entry.

A few of our sponsors also offer to contribute some or all of individual farmers membership fees. If you are interested in entering YEN with the help of a sponsor, please select relevant option on our order page by going to your YEN dashboard and selecting "Enter YENs" button.

Sponsorship

Sponsors are key in steering the evolution of this network and its activities.  They have access to network information, intelligence and discussions to support their own yield enhancement initiatives.

Sponsors can also make multiple competition entries, and have multiple tickets to attend the annual YEN conference.
