The Linseed YEN Lite was launched in 2024 with development funding from Premium Crops. Linseed YEN Lite is a digital platform to benchmark husbandry, resource capture, and yield components. We hope this increased knowledge base will help us find new ways to increase linseed yields on-farm.
All members will be provided with a comprehensive report, containing their potential yield and detailing how their crop performed and where improvements could be made. Please see the example Linseed YEN Lite report.
In the UK, leading farms and research trials for winter linseed often achieve in excess of 4 t/ha. However, the average commercial farm produces much less - around 2 t/ha for spring linseed. This network is striving to address how to maximise yields in all situations via changes to agronomic decision making. Members are also invited to discuss results, experiences and ideas at the end of the season.

Sponsorship
Corporate Sponsors support the network to maintain its core activities. Their vital role is recognised in all YEN publicity, media items, conference presentations, and on this website.
Sponsors have a key role in steering the evolution of the network and its activities. They have access to network information, intelligence and discussions to support their own yield enhancement initiatives.
Sponsors can also make multiple competition entries, and have multiple attendance at the annual YEN conference.
A few sponsors will also contribute some or all of individual farmers membership fees.
