Since the YEN began in 2012, entrants have had many ideas for enhancing yields and you can now test these through the new ‘YEN Yield Testing project’ funded by EIP-Agri. By bringing together groups of farmers who are interested in testing out hypothesises for increasing their yield, we can learn new and innovative approaches that could benefit all crop growers.
YEN Yield Testing explained
Farm Innovation Groups (FIGs)
In 2018 we established a number of Farm Innovation Groups, based on the best ideas raised within YEN. We encourage everyone with an interest in learning new ways to improve their yields to join like-minded farmers and get involved.
All our current FIGs are listed below. If you are interested in joining one or more of the FIGs, please click on the links to find out more information and who to contact to join.
Please note, all participants within the projects need to be members of the Yield Enhancement Network. All fields entered into the YEN Yield Testing programme will also be entered into the YEN competition.

This project is funded by the EIP-Agri, which works to foster competitive and sustainable farming and forestry that 'achieves more and better from less' across Europe.
