The Great Lakes YEN is being launched for harvest 2022 in the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the Great Lakes region of the USA. The goal of this new YEN is very much the same as YENs in Europe, to connect agricultural organizations, extension specialists, academics, agronomists, and farmers who are striving to improve crop returns by closing the gap between potential yield and actual yield. The Great Lakes YEN is initially focused on winter wheat.
Great Lakes YEN partners are Grain Farmers of Ontario, Michigan State University, Michigan Wheat Program, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the University of Guelph, and Certified Crop Advisers.

In a year or so we look forward to sharing ideas and data between YEN members on both sides of the Atlantic!
